About Me

I'm a passionate Mechanical Engineer graduate from Tecnológico de Monterrey with an M.Sc. in Advanced Motorsport Engineering from Cranfield University, passionate for motorsport, particularly in vehicle dynamics from the suspension, design of composite structures, and rising new feasible natural materials in a rally setting and non‑conventional motorsport competition, such as Japan’s D1 Grand Prix. I'm also quite fascinated with rising-manufacturing procedures for different industries and with diverse passions.

I'm always looking to expand my skills and knowledge, from engineering skills to art, even in animal-related skills.

2021-Current

Vehicle Restomod Project (Personal Project)

Working on a restomod of a 1998 Nissan 240SX, blending restoration with modernization. The project has involved diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems, upgrading performance components, and customizing both the aesthetics and functionality of the car. Beyond the technical skills, it’s been a long-term exercise in problem-solving, patience, and applying my engineering knowledge to a real-world passion project, as well as learning proper selection tools and techniques for performance-targeted parts and outsourcing materials. Some of the highlights are:

Hands-On Workshop Skills: Installation of vehicle parts according to specifications and requirements. One lead example would be the installation of Fortune Auto 500 Series Performance Coilovers using required torques for an adequate installation.

Technical Approach for Parts Selection: Utilizing mathematical formulas and professional recommendations to select the proper part. One lead example would be the use of mathematical equations to define the spring rate and damping rate required for the target performance, as well as for the turbo selection and supporting modifications.

I was fortunate enough to do a master course in Cranfield University about the incredible engineering world of motorsport; M.Sc. Advanced Motorsport Engineering. It allowed me to further developed previous knowledge and skills regarding with design and simulation, as well as develop new ones whilst doing real-life value projects and getting lectures from key engineers in the motorsport industry.
